In 2004 we converted a disused barn into a high quality bunkhouse/self catering accommodation. It is an ideal base for exploring Northumberland, Hadrain's Wall and Kielder Water.

The bunkhouse comprises of 3 bedrooms, which are all named after the surrounding hills. They are all equipped with hand made oak bunk beds, high quality mattresses and complete bed linen. There are coin operated convector heaters in these rooms. Callerhues bedroom sleeps 8, Hareshaw bedroom sleeps 4 and Dunterley bedroom sleeps 3. Downstairs there is a large living area, which is heated with a traditional pot belly stove and also a convector heater.

A fully equiped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, hob, kettle, CD player all the necessary pots, pans, knifes and forks. An easy sitting area with farmhouse kitchen tables makes this an ideal base for your holiday. There are two bathrooms with hot water showers and underfloor heating. We have a fully pegged out drying room together with boots racks, there is also a coin operated tumbler dryer. There is private car parking and secure cycle store.

Picnic tables and an area for you own BBQ are available in the gravelled courtyard to the front of the bunkhouse. It is perfect for smaller groups, individuals and families.

Full bed linen is included for your stay.
